Do you think India require a overseas mentor for Spinners?

Query: Do you feel India need a international coach for Spinners?
Concern by Pegasus Growing
Shane Warne will not brain if he is provided the work of coaching Indian spinners.
He mentioned: “If there is any provide or one thing like that I will critically take into account. I adore Indian tradition. It took a prolonged time to embrace the culture and get to recognize India and possibly took me a couple of excursions to understand.”

Any team would love to have Warne in there set-up.

Warne is up there as one of the most experienced players who has ever played the game, he knows all formats of the game inside out, and he knows how to succeed in them.

Not only that he also has one of the best cricketing brains in world cricket today.

Just think about the amount of knowledge Warne could pass to Piyush Chawla and Amit Misrah, he could turn them from good to great bowlers.

Another factor Warne brings is his knowledge about the press & media, all Indian cricketers are stars in there home country and Warne could share his knowledge on how to deal with the fame.

However although Warne says he would not mind coaching the Indian spinners, i don’t feel the job would suit him. Warne needs a break from Cricket and then to come back as a proper 1st team coach.

Lastly India don’t need a new spin coach (unless they get Warne) because the India set-up is quite settled and working well.

All Aussies coaches should be banned from Indian cricket.

I have nothing against Warne, but aussies do nto have good track record as a coach in India

Buchana or Greg chappel…. I do not want any Australian coach to control Indian cricket.

We hired one australian as a coach and we saw where he took our team.

Go and train Australians. Cricket is a game played by players…Australians want to juice money out of Indian cricket, so now they are storming, but it is not because they liek India.

Aussies are trying to take game away from captain and players…. Last ODI world cup and fall of KKR is a classic example of greedy and power crazy Aussies coaches.

Today I seen Greg Sheppard want to play more foreign players just because he had to say no to Glenn Mcgrath(Another Aussie).

All these aussies are doing is nothing but giving employment to other aussies. they all should be banned.

No – The only exception I can think of is Shane Warne. Even with him, India has plenty of expertise on spin option. They have the legendary spin quartet – Bedi, Prasanna , Chandra and Venkat. In addition they have Kumble, Shivrama Krishnan and many more. No there are plenty decent spinners in India. But the question is can any of these ex-players be a better coach. If they can then India does not need a foreign coach.
Having Shane Warne is a different picture. He brings the best of an average spinner to a quality spinner.

India doesn’t need any foreign coach for spinners. There are many spin legends in India to help the youngsters. But using the services of Shane Warne, the best bowler in the history of cricket, would help India immensely. He should be hired to improve the skills of the under 19 cricketers.
